Chandra Reddy Metzler co-founded CM Squared in 2017. She a Managing Partner with responsibility for all aspects of the business. As a family office and an independent sponsor, CM Squared distinguishes itself by structuring creative transactions that encourage optimal outcomes, align incentives and mitigate undesired risks. Litigation funding is a core strategy for the firm.

Prior to CM Squared, Ms. Metzler was Head of Strategic Development for QVT Financial, a multi-billion dollar global alternative investment firm. In this role, she had overall responsibility for investor relations, capital raising and product development. She was also a member of the firm’s Risk Committee. Before joining QVT in 2013, Ms. Metzler was president of the financial lines division at AIG for the U.S. and Canada, leading a business with over $2 billion in revenue and over 500 employees. Prior to AIG, Ms. Metzler had various roles of increasing responsibility and revenue generation in capital markets, banking and investment research at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan.

Ms. Metzler earned her bachelor’s degree at Brown University in Economics, with honors, and Development Studies. She has a master’s degree in Economics from New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. While a graduate student, Ms. Metzler was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship.
