Sanjay Desai is head of Litigation Risk Solutions at Marsh, the largest broker in the world. Managing a team of 4, Sanjay and his team deal with providing funding and insurance backed solutions for all manner of disputes from, complex commercial litigation, class actions and international arbitration . Experienced in working across multiple jurisdictions and on matters in all of the main global arbitration centres, Sanjay and his team deliver market leading litigation risk solutions. They have a best in class suite of solutions from ATE insurance, litigation funding, Litigation buy out insurance, contingent fee insurance, DBA insurance and many more to ensure they can meet most clients needs. Sanjay himself is a solicitor with a broad and varied background. He has worked in private practice, in house, for a global broker and even helped launch the ATE insurance arm of one of the world’s largest litigation funds. Sanjay has worked in ATE and funding for a number of years and dealt with a broad range of matters. HE has provided one off case solutions, portfolio arrangements and even developed specific products to meet a client’s specific needs.
