Jason Ethridge

VICE PRESIDENT, GERCHEN CAPITAL PARTNERS

Jason Ethridge serves as a Vice President at Gerchen Capital Partners, where he is responsible for identifying and evaluating investments, as well as managing underwriting and due diligence processes.

Jason has evaluated litigation investments across a wide variety of substantive law and across an array of domestic and international jurisdictions. Prior to joining GCP, Jason practiced at Keller Postman LLC, where he represented groups of plaintiffs in class actions, mass torts, multidistrict litigation, and arbitrations. He brings elite-level legal practice experience in all stages of litigation from origination, evaluation, and filing strategy to trial, appeal, and judgment enforcement.

Previously, Jason was an Associate at Kellogg, Hansen, Todd, Figel & Frederick PLLC in Washington, D.C. where his experience included working with economic experts, taking depositions, and briefing appeals in some of the largest and most significant antitrust cases in the United States. Jason also served as a law clerk for Judge Pamela Harris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Judge Dabney Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Jason graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where his legal studies focused on the intersection of law and business. He served as a board member for the Harvard Association for Law & Business and was awarded the Corporate Governance Fellowship at the John M. Olin Center for Law, Economics, and Business.

Jason earned a master’s degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Maryland and his undergraduate degree in double bass performance, magna cum laude, from Furman University.
