Erin Mulvaney is a national legal affairs reporter with The Wall Street Journal. She covers the legal industry and litigation affecting business and the economy nationwide. She writes about high-profile trials, lawsuits that explore novel questions, and cases that reveal legal tensions for companies, including about mass torts, technology and labor.
She previously worked for Bloomberg Industry Group and American Lawyer Media in Washington, specializing in the gig economy, civil rights, and discrimination law. A Texas-native, she wrote about real estate for the Houston Chronicle and state politics for the Dallas Morning News. She has a journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
