Adam Hudes is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of the international law firm Vinson & Elkins. Adam is a seasoned litigator and antitrust lawyer who concentrates on complex antitrust and commercial disputes. He places a particular emphasis on the application of the antitrust laws to pricing and distribution practices and to intellectual property rights. These cases have addressed a variety of legal theories covering numerous industries including food and beverage, consumer goods, insurance, payment service, medical equipment, automotive, advertising, consumer electronics and agricultural products. Adam’s antitrust practice includes the representation of companies in investigations conducted by the Federal Trade Commission, US Department of Justice and state authorities. He regularly advises clients on distribution, resale pricing, MAP policies, promotional allowances, anti-diversion strategies, and other trade practice matters. Adam’s work has been recognized by publications such as Super Lawyers, Legal 500, and Global Competition Review.
